Such a good birthday

I had a birthday and it was happy.  My mom and I went and found some strawberry plants in the morning and we (my mom and the kiddos) all had peeps doughnuts while I planted things. Then Hubby surprised me by coming home early with flowers and wine and taking me to see Captain America: The Winter Soldier (which was AWESOME!) while my mom watched the kids. He orchestrated the whole thing behind my back. It was such a great surprise!
I checked the mail on the way out and got some great birthday cards. Well, the one from Jennifer of Plush Pussy Cat wasn’t a deliberate birthday card, but it might of well have been. It included tiny dish towels, a heart cookie cutter, and a cook book for my dollhouse kitchen. Aww!
Oh! Speaking of the dollhouse kitchen: Hubby also took me to Hobby Lobby and I picked up a little set of pots and pans and a toaster for my dollhouse kitchen. It is really all coming together in a lovely and adorable way. I will post pictures soon, I’m trying to get the kitchen floor down and the trim glued in and painted first so that it doesn’t look so naked.
I was so psyched over seeing Captain America 2 that we went and bought The Avengers afterwards. We came home to two zonked out kids (thanks, Grandma!) and drank my birthday wine and watched The Avengers and ate Hershey’s with almonds bars.
It was such a good birthday.
