I need to start a compost pile. If I do it now, maybe I’ll have some nice compost by Spring.

I’ve read all about it but never actually done it because we’ve moved so much. This house is a rental too, but I have a little yard and place to compost this time.

I’m starting to feel really settled here. It isn’t ideal but it is comfortable.

It’s tough sometimes, not being a homeowner. Rentals feel temporary which can be a sad feeling. Especially when you have a family.

If it were our house, I’d replace the bathroom sink vanity, put ceiling fans in all of the rooms, re-do the kitchen so that the sink is under the window and the cabinets were better positioned and put up a privacy fence.

Oh and turn the extra closet in the boy’s room into a bookshelf to improve storage.

I could come up with more if I went through my Pinterest boards. It makes me wonder if I should suggest just trying to purchase this house from our landlords.

Hmm. It’s an idea but I guess that I’ll start with the compost bin and planting more things and see how it goes.
